Richard C. Decker - partner
Rick has over forty years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He was a partner with the Trammell Crow Company and later served as President and CEO of Centex Commercial Development. In these roles, he developed, leased, and sold approximately 9 million square feet of industrial projects across the country. Immediately prior to joining Decker-Goetsch Properties, Rick founded his own independent development company, which is a General Partner in eight different commercial real estate projects totaling nearly 500,000 square feet.
Rick has been an active developer in Ventura County since 1998 . He earned a B.A. from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Rick currently serves on the National Advisory Council at the BYU Marriott School of Business and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.
Robert F. Goetsch - partner
Bob has been in the commercial real estate business for over 40 years. Currently he is partners with Rick and Adam Decker in Decker-Goetsch Properties. For 30 years prior to that he ran Zephyr Development Inc. Zephyr developed 1.5 million square feet of industrial property in Ventura County and the Inland Empire. Prior to that he worked for the Sammis Company in Irvine, CA. Before moving to California in 1984 he worked for Metropolitan Life and Metropolitan Structures in Chicago. He is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management/Northwestern University.
Adam Decker – partner
Adam earned a B.A. from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. While in law school, he worked part-time at Equity Commonwealth, a publicly traded REIT focused on the acquisition, disposition, and management of commercial office properties across the United States.
Prior to joining Decker Goetsch Properties, Adam worked for several years as an associate at Vinson & Elkins LLP and Sidley Austin LLP, where he represented private equity funds and developers in connection with joint ventures and the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and operation of energy, infrastructure, and real estate assets. Adam is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
